The first name originated by first missionaries who came via Madili and Wasua along fly river, a Gogodala tribe who received the word of God from the first missionaries in 1931. Biula was one site a missionary by the name of Albert Drysdale who brought Gods word while the tribe Gogodala were yet primitive, so socialised to their tradition and cultural heritage deep so that they may have known amidst themselves heavily but believed and accustomed to their faith in own god. Amongst the tribe those who stepped to received the gifts in material and eventually accepting the word of God as their saviour. Not knowing the benefit and goodness it would be beyond to future generations that they sacrifice their traditional idols by burning them to follow Lord Jesus Christ. Biula was sacred place , the storyline will continue….
